SPIOENKOP FARM HOUSE
Our task was to breathe new life into a once-unfinished building, transforming it into a warm and welcoming retreat for guests visiting Spioenkop Wine estate. With four en-suite bedrooms, the farmhouse was designed to reflect the grounded, unpretentious spirit of the land itself. Natural textures and simple details bring a quiet warmth to the space — from stuccoed built-in furniture and handmade clay pendants, to breeze blocks in place of shower screens. Each element offers a subtle nod to the farm’s rich clay soil, while generous views across the vineyard ensure the landscape remains at the heart of the experience.
